What is Payout?
The withdrawal of a trader's profit share from a funded prop firm account, paid on a fixed cycle.
A payout is the moment profit on a funded account is withdrawn as real money. The trader requests a withdrawal at the end of a payout cycle, the firm reviews the trading for rule compliance, and it sends the trader's agreed profit share.
The cycle is most commonly every 14 days from the start of funded trading; some firms offer weekly or on-demand payouts. The first payout is significant because most reputable firms refund the original evaluation fee with it.
Payment reaches the trader by bank transfer, cryptocurrency such as USDT, or an e-wallet such as Rise or Wise — usually within 1-3 business days of approval. A firm's documented payout history is the single most important credibility signal; a high profit split is worthless if payouts are delayed or disputed.
