What is Dealing Range (Inside the Range)?

A Dealing Range needs two anchors: a clear higher-timeframe swing high and a clear higher-timeframe swing low. These two points must be obvious — if you have to argue with yourself about which high is the "real" high, you have not found the range yet. Drop to a lower timeframe or zoom out until the structure is undeniable.

Once drawn, the range is your operating envelope. Every entry, every target, every stop is referenced to those two boundaries. The range tells you whether to look for buyside delivery (price near range low) or sellside delivery (price near range high).

Inside the range you have IRL (internal range liquidity) and internal inefficiencies. When those sit close together, they become strong magnets for price. The algorithm is built to be efficient — it can raid liquidity and rebalance inefficiency in the same move. That is why price often comes back to fill an internal FVG immediately after sweeping a minor low: one move, two objectives.

Outside the range you have ERL. The algorithm cannot reach ERL until IRL is "processed" — that is the rhythm of every dealing range: internal cleanup → external delivery.

A break of the dealing range high or low is the signal that the algorithm has achieved its ERL objective and is starting a new range delivery in the breakout direction. Breakouts can be genuine (rare) or sweeps (much more common). A genuine breakout shows continuation; a sweep returns inside the range within a few candles.

Treat every break as suspect until confirmed by displacement and a new internal range forming above/below the original.
