Is forex trading halal or haram?

What exactly is an Islamic account?
A trading account that neither charges nor pays interest (swap / rollover) on positions held overnight. Brokers compensate via a slight spread widening, a flat admin fee after some days, or nothing at all (Exness, XM).
What are the scholarly conditions for forex to be halal?
