What is Killzone (ICT Sessions)?
The high-probability time windows ICT setups are traded in — London Killzone (2-5 AM ET) and New York Killzone (7-10 AM ET) — when institutional volume actually moves price.
Killzones are the windows when institutional participation is dense enough for ICT setups to deliver. London Killzone: 2:00-5:00 AM ET — the daily high or low of many FX pairs forms here. New York Killzone: 7:00-10:00 AM ET — overlaps London close, US data releases, and equity open; the manipulation phase of the daily Power of Three usually happens here.
Outside the killzones — especially the Asian session for FX majors — ranges are thin and setups degrade into noise. The same Order Block that works at 8:30 AM ET fails at 9 PM ET because no institutional flow defends it.
Practical rule: form bias before the killzone, execute inside it, and stand down outside it. Time filters beat indicator filters.
